The Micro-lofts project is the design, production and assembly of a multifunctional built-in furniture installation with storage space, kitchen and bathroom. The application of the PLUS cabinet system on an architectural scale is unique, in which the installation forms an integral part of the apartment’s layout. The installation is completely produced by means of a CNC milling machine. There is minimal material loss during the production process. The cabinet was transported in bundled individual parts as a 'flat-pack'. Once on location, the installation is assembled by the owners themselves within 3 days thanks to a digital manual.

Het project Micro-lofts is het ontwerp, productie en assemblage van een multifunctioneel inbouw meubel met bergruimte, keuken en badkamer. Uniek is het toepassen van het PLUS kastensysteem op architectonische schaal waarbij het meubel integraal onderdeel uitmaakt van het woningontwerp. Het meubel is compleet geproduceerd door middel van een CNC-freesmachine. Bij het productieproces is er minimaal materiaalverlies. De kast is in gebundelde losse onderdelen als ‘flat-pack’ getransporteerd. Eenmaal op locatie kunnen is het meubel door de eigenaren zelf dankzij een digitale handleiding binnen 3 dagen geassembleerd.
